Mike Hailwood fell off his MV Agusta at Sarahs Cottage exactly where his teammate Giacomo Agostini had fallen the lap previously.. Ago was sitting on the wall having retired. Mike picked up the damaged MV, straightened as much as he could, restarted the machine and rode on, without the screen. The weather was awful and yet Mike still managed to win.
